Junior Escrow Officer

The Junior Escrow Officer supports the Escrow Officer and Lead Escrow Officer in all aspects of the escrow process, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. This role is committed to delivering exceptional service, strong performance, and maintaining a culture of candor and respect in all interactions with team members, clients, partners, and management.

What You Will Do

• Manage and oversee escrow files and transactions when the Escrow Officer is unavailable
• Prepare and process escrow documents, refund checks, recording packages, and closing balances
• Draft estimated closing statements for buyers and sellers, including tax and interest prorations
• Open and package new escrows; receipt and process deposits
• Order demands, HOA statements, insurance documents, and open title orders
• Balance escrow accounts and disburse funds at closing
• Prepare amendments, including complex revisions
• Review and interpret buyer, seller, and lender instructions to determine escrow requirements
• Handle general processing, including statements of information, title documentation, loan document signings, and policy follow-up
• Manage a variety of transactions including resale, refinance, REO, foreclosure, and short sales
• Support business development and marketing initiatives
• Assist team members as needed and perform additional duties as assigned
• Maintain accountability for client satisfaction, quality control, and upholding company values

What You Bring

• Minimum two years of escrow experience - able to process an entire file on your own A MUST!
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service with a strong focus on client satisfaction and quality
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience with RBJ is preferred
