Full Time - Infant/Toddler Preschool Teacher
Preschool teachers have the ability to shape a young person’s life in countless ways. As a member of our teaching staff you will:
· Create a safe, nurturing environment where our children can feel a sense of belonging and growth.
· Create collaborative relationships with parents with the goal of continually improving the quality of how we serve our families.
· Support the preschool’s goals of referrals, safety and environmental excellence to enhance learning while helping with the vitality of the organization.
· Implement Bethlehem’s curriculum through lesson planning that is consistent with the unique needs of the age group and the individual’s learning style and needs.
- Desired skills, experience and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Copy of Transcripts
- Required Educational experience including 12 CORE ECE units to include Program Curriculum, Child Growth & Development, Principles and Practices and Child/Family & Community (transcripts required prior to interview) plus an Infant/Toddler course (3 units)
- Experience working in a licensed preschool facility preferred (complete references required)
Applicants must be 18 years or older
Immunizations - MMR (Measles), Pertussis (TDaP- Whooping Cough), Reg Annual Flu Shot (or decline) and a current TB test.
Must meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
Able to work full-time hours - 6:30am-1:30pm. M-F
