Mellady Direct is a full-service print and direct mail company serving businesses, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, government agencies, and financial institutions nationwide. We help our clients communicate through personalized print, direct mail, data management, and marketing solutions.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Operations Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing and managing client data, processing mailing lists, supporting personalized print campaigns, and ensuring data accuracy throughout the production process.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with spreadsheets, solving problems, learning new technology, and finding efficient ways to accomplish tasks. No direct mail experience is required—we will train the right candidate on our software, equipment, and industry-specific processes.

Responsibilities

  • Review, clean, organize, and validate client data files
  • Process mailing lists and prepare files for production
  • Import, export, and manipulate data using Excel and specialized software
  • Generate reports and documentation for internal teams and clients
  • Support personalized and variable-data print projects
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure data accuracy
  • Troubleshoot data issues and identify solutions
  • Assist with workflow improvements and process automation
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation
  • Collaborate with account managers and production staff to ensure successful project execution

Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to learn new software and technology quickly
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with large amounts of data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with spreadsheets, databases, records management, operations, logistics, finance, accounting, insurance, or other detail-oriented administrative roles
  • Experience using AI tools and modern technology to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Experience in printing, manufacturing, production, or direct mail environments is a plus, but not required

This position spends the majority of the day working on a computer with spreadsheets, databases, and specialized software. Candidates should enjoy detailed computer-based work, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
