Drain Mast Electrical Tech
Position Summary
Performs testing and inspection as required per Engineering specifications, Test Procedures, and instructions to verify compliance to drawing, product documentations or shop order requirements.
Essential Responsibilities
- Interprets blueprints, complex electrical wiring schematics, test procedures and shop order instructions to set up and perform functional test, and electrical, under minimum supervision on a variety of products.
- Verifies conformance to specifications using electrical test equipment such as flow meters, multi-meters, volt meters, timers, power supplies, and torque gauges, as necessary.
- Documents test results and finding by applicable Test Procedures.
- Install circuits, wires, sensors, and thermostats, and makes necessary adjustments.
- Curing of heater tubes
- Operate Autoclave & Ovens.
Position Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, trade school certification, or 5 years in electronic assembly equivalent.
- Must have working knowledge of various electrical and mechanical test equipment such as volt meters, timers, power supplies, and test equipment.
- Must be able to evaluate and adapt fixtures to single and multi-port product.
- Must be able to read and write in English, can document test findings, follow verbal and written instructions, have proper math skills to perform conversion calculations, and the ability to interpret blueprints, complex electrical wiring schematics, test procedures and instructions.
- Ability to work with high pressure, solvents, and fluids also necessary.
- Ability to read documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Must be able to adjust to changing demands of the workload and keep integrity.
- Must be able to work overtime during the week and weekends.
- Ability to regularly lift and move 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 25 lbs.
- Requires ability to walk, sit and stand for the duration of the work shift.
