Early Childhood Educator – Part time/ Full-Time (prefered)

We are looking for a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a full-time teacher working with children from infancy through preschool age (Infants to 5 years). The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, energetic, and committed to creating a safe, loving, and engaging learning environment where every child can grow and thrive.

The Early Childhood Educator will work with children across different age groups and developmental stages. They should be able to adapt their teaching approach, curriculum, and interactions to meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of each child.

Early Childhood Educator Responsibilities

  • Create and implement engaging, creative, and developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities for children from infancy through preschool age.
  • Adapt activities and teaching strategies to meet the developmental needs of different age groups and individual children.
  • Provide attentive, nurturing, and responsive care while maintaining a safe and positive classroom environment.
  • Observe and respond appropriately to each child's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs.
  • Support children's development in areas including language, communication, social-emotional skills, physical development, independence, and problem-solving.
  • Build strong, trusting, and secure relationships with children and provide consistent encouragement and positive guidance.
  • Promote positive behavior, social interaction, cooperation, and respect among children.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming classroom environment.
  • Supervise children at all times and follow all health, safety, and supervision procedures.
  • Communicate professionally and consistently with parents and families regarding children's daily experiences, development, and needs.
  • Keep ChildPilot records and daily updates current to maintain open communication with families throughout the day.
  • Document and report accidents, injuries, illness, developmental concerns, or unusual behavior to the Director and parents as appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with the Director and teaching team to ensure classroom routines, policies, licensing requirements, and center guidelines are followed.
  • Participate in classroom planning, staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding children's records, family information, and other sensitive information.
  • Support a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for every child and family.

Early Childhood Educator Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 ECE units, Including Infant and Toddler units.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification, Current Mandated Reporter Certification or willingness to obtain certification as required.
  • Successful completion of required background check and health examination.
  • Must have proof of MMR,Dtap Vaccinations and Tp Test.
  • Previous experience working in a preschool, child care center, early learning program, or similar setting.
  • Experience working with children under 5 years of age is preferred.
  • A genuine passion for working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
  • Patient, nurturing, dependable, and thoughtful approach to working with young children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with children of different ages, personalities, abilities, and developmental needs.
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative teaching team.
  • Professional, reliable, and flexible attitude.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting children's privacy.
