Background

Dear Prospective Employer, I have been a Graphic and Web Designer for over 28 years. I graduated from Platt College with an AA Degree in Graphic Design and a Certificate of Completion for Multimedia. I received 2 Certificates of Graphic Excellence and was elected as “Speaker” for our campus at the graduation ceremonies. My skills include proficiency in the latest versions of Adobe CC (including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat DC, Bridge and more), QuarkXpress QX 2018, several FTP Programs, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and familiarity with several other graphics and document layout programs. I have experience with MailChimp and AWeber ESP’s, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram Social Media Platforms, and the RaffleCopter platform. I am well versed with several Content Management Systems, such as: WordPress, Shopify, Magento, Joomla, custom CMS platforms, and many others. In my previous contracted position as Director of Marketing, my responsibilities included: • Increasing the company’s brand and product awareness • Social Media Marketing • Giveaways and Contests Management • Increasing Sales • Managing Email Marketing Campaigns • All Web and Print Collaterals • Graphic and Web Design I worked with Social Media Influencers to guide them in a positive direction for the company’s brands for social media platforms, YouTube videos and blog posts. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to hone my creativity, interpersonal skills and product knowledge to accomplish and exceed whatever challenge is put in front of me. My experiences with graphic and web design, print collateral and internet marketing have become crucial stepping-stones. Learning to work with others as a team or one-on-one, problem solving to achieve the end-goal, and overcoming obstacles requires teamwork, patience and a positive and outgoing attitude.
