Background

Hello! I'm currently a senior in college looking for a career, I'm officially finishing my degree in Sociology at California State University Channel Islands, I will only be taking one class in the fall that is twice a week. I'm actively looking for an employer who can work with that as I would love to find a career and am willing to work full-time. I'm a strong listener, collaborator, and creative. My experience in Sociology has allowed me to work with all kinds of people and backgrounds as well as a special focus on society. I am also interested in internships. I'm happy to learn and grow my experience within a job!

  I worked in customer service at La Fitness for 2 years, I specialized in use of multiple different positions. I would assist with sales appointments, check-ins, collections, and overall maintenance of the gym from the pool, customer concerns, account issues, and any other inquiries from customers. I also have experience opening and closing the gym, as well as handling programs and calls by myself before my manager came in. I'm very comfortable working with people and maintaining my composure as situations aren't always pleasant with the public.

  I completed my associate's degree here to be able to get my 2 years of junior college done to be able to transfer to a university and complete the last 2 years of my college education. I'm a first generation student, this path to college was a great way for me to save money and still be able to get my college education.
